is a network of people around the world who have felt their lives
enriched, inspired, and changed for the better by the teachings
and service of one of the greatest peacemakers and humanitarians
in the world, Sri Swami Satchidananda.
We invite you to join this network by anonymously offering actions or services to anyone on the 22nd of each month (in honor of the birthday of Sri Gurudev). It’s a way to give back something to our communities and the world, at the same time expressing our gratitude to our Gurudev, who has inspired and enriched our lives beyond measure. How can you be part of the Lifelights network? There are only four requirements:
We can offer all kinds of anonymous acts of kindness and service. Some examples: paying a toll for the car behind you, dropping off food to someone in need, leaving a special present for a friend, or anything you’re inspired to do to brighten someone’s day. If you would like, with your gift or service, you may leave a card. These special cards are available—at no charge—at Integral Yoga centers. You can also print your own from this site using the pdf files. The card explains to the recipient that they have just received an anonymous act of kindness inspired by the service of H. H. Sri Swami Satchidananda and his teachings of selfless love and service. It is our hope that Lifelights will inspire people to think of and perform acts of kindness throughout the month, whether they utilize the cards or not! We would love to keep a comprehensive list of as many of these acts of kindness as possible so we can spread the light, love and inspiration. We invite you to send us ideas you’ve had and how you’ve implemented them. We will post these on our Web site. Please do not include your name or address. We do not solicit and do not accept any donations.
